As launch day for the new Samsung Galaxy S24 series approaches, Best Buy is stepping in to offer some of the best pre-order deals with $120 off and $150 bonus credits. Pre-order savings continue too for the OnePlus 12R from $370 or less, which joins Motorola’s MA1 Android Auto wireless adapter in $61. Hit the jump for all that and more in the latest 9to5Toys Lunch break.

Best Buy offers even better Samsung Galaxy S24 pre-orders

If Samsung’s own pre-orders haven’t sold you on the new Galaxy S24 series, then Best Buy’s promotions might. The retailer is ahead of the launch to offer even more attractive deals on the three new smartphones. Right now you can get the Galaxy S24 Ultra for $1,300, with the increased capacity of 512 GB at the same price as the 256 GB model. It includes $120 in savings you’ll find directly at Samsung, but also a $150 gift card to spend on future purchases. That saves you $270 on your new phone, with high trade-in rates netting you an extra $750 in cash back. Head down for more information.

In addition to the flagship Ultra, you can also get much of the same extra storage and gift card promotions with the Galaxy S24 and its larger S24+ counterpart. Each of these new phones features the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and focuses on AI technology, just in smaller packages than the 6.8-inch smartphone we detailed above. Here’s a breakdown of the savings for each.

OnePlus 12R starts at $370 or less

The new OnePlus 12R will ship in the first half of next month, and pre-order deals are here to help make this affordable flagship an even better value. Right now you can lower the price to $469.99 shipped when you apply the code TECHNOLOGY30 in box. That’s $30 off the just-announced $500 MSRP, and just the beginning of the savings. Trade-in any smartphone will get you at least $100 off, while the latest devices will get you over $450 in credit towards the new version. That lets you walk away for $370 or less. In our announcement coverage, we delve into how OnePlus managed to offer more flagship-caliber specs at a mid-range price.

The new OnePlus 12R arrives as the little brother of the standard OnePlus 12 and offers a mid-range experience centered on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. There is 12 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM in the base model, which are joined by a 6.78-inch AMOLED display on the front with a 120Hz refresh rate. The 5,500mAh internal battery is backed by the same 80W SUPERVOOC charging as on its flagship counterpart, and on the back there’s a camera 50 MP main with macro and ultra wide angle lenses, just in case. All of that makes it a cheaper option to consider compared to some of the high-end phones that have just hit the market.

Motorola’s MA1 Android Auto wireless adapter is marked down to $61

Amazon now offers the Motorola MA1 Android Wireless Car Adapter for $60.96 shipped. Today’s deal is the best we’ve seen in over a year, beating our previous mention from last year’s holiday by an extra $0.50. You’ll also save 33% in the process. The Motorola MA1 adapter upgrades your car’s Android Auto compatibility and your existing entertainment unit with wireless connectivity. So instead of having to physically connect your smartphone every time you get in the car, this add-on will allow you to pair it wirelessly for a more seamless experience. It connects to your vehicle via USB-A and we cover what to expect from the experience in our hands-on review.

Today’s top deal is easily one of the best options on the market to cut the cord on your Android Auto experience, whether it’s on sale or not. But if you’re looking for something a little more affordable, this alternative comes with some additional savings that make it an even better value. This wireless adapter does not have the 9to5Google support that Motorola’s offering offers, but it will still free up your in-car experience. Best of all, it’s even more affordable with a $55 price tag.

Lenovo’s Tab P12 centers around a 12.7-inch 3K display and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor. This allows the tablet to run Android 13 out of the box, with 128GB of storage backed by 8GB of memory for load that screen with multiple windows and applications.
