Save $150 on the original Apple Watch Ultra

Amazon offers the second best price yet on the original Apple Watch Ultra. This rugged portable device now drops to $649 from the original price of $799. It’s $150 off and matches Amazon’s all-time low for only the second time. We’ve seen it sell for less in the past, with a single-day discount of $600 to start New Year’s Day. Otherwise, this is the lowest offer we’ve seen.

Everything about that enhanced feature set is packed into a titanium case that surrounds the larger display. 49mm large display, which is the brightest always-on Retina display yet. Apple Watch Ultra also has a more distinctive side module that encompasses the usual digital crown, as well as a customizable secondary action button to round out the form factor adjustments. As for how it compares to the new Apple Watch Ultra 2, you’re not missing too much. There’s the new S9 chip at the center of the fitness tracking experience, as well as new pinch gesture recognition, but you’re largely looking at the same wearable as the previous discounted model.

Satechi updates Mac mini Stand and Hub with a 20% discount

Satechi today continues its reveals at CES 2024 with a new and improved version of its exclusive Stand and Hub for Mac Mini. The new version improves the experience with some quality of life updates for Apple’s latest Mac mini and Studio, while maintaining the same footprint. It’s also on sale at launch, dropping the usual price from $100 to $79.99 shipped with code CES20. This is a 20% introductory discount and your first chance to save on this new version.

Satechi’s current Stand and Hub first appeared in 2021 with the goal of adding some front I/O to your Mac mini. It has a fun design that sits right under your desktop Mac and is now also compatible with the new Mac Studio. Now, with the updated version, Satechi is fusing all of that same approach with some more modern specs to match Apple’s latest M2 desktops. Oh, and of course the same aluminum design remains: it wouldn’t be Satechi without it!

One of the biggest problems with the previous version is that the internal SSD slot was only designed for M.2 SATA drives. It wasn’t the best option a few years ago and it’s one of the biggest limitations in 2024. Now Satechi is updating it with proper NVMe support, so you can plug in your fancy new SSD and get better speeds. This should mean you’ll be able to edit images from the companion drive, rather than using it more for backup and storage. The Stand and Hub still features the same three USB-A slots and a single USB-C port on the front, as well as micro and SD card readers and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

We take a practical look at the entire experience in 9to5MacBut if there was ever a time to try new material for yourself, it’s now.

Apple’s new FineWoven cases wrap your iPhone 15 in a completely renewed finish intended to replace leather. The microtwill material is made from 68% post-consumer recycled materials and has a soft-touch finish that comes in different colors. There’s also MagSafe support, as you’d expect from an official Apple case. Today’s discount applies to three different styles. Each of these are at historic lows as some of the earliest opportunities to save.

Upgrade Your Siri Settings to Matter with Nanoleaf’s $15 Bulbs

Amazon offers the Nanoleaf Essentials Smart Matter bulb for $14.99. Shipping is free for Prime members or on orders over $25. It’s the second-best price yet at $5 off the regular price of $20, and the best we’ve seen in over a month. There was only one time this sold for less, and that was during a 1-day holiday sale. We also break down the experience further in our launch coverage.

The Nanoleaf Essentials bulb arrives with some of the latest technology out there, centered around a Thread radio that ensures it can connect to both Matter smart homes and HomeKit setups. Logitech’s MX Anywhere 3S mouse for Mac is on sale

Amazon now offers the Logitech MX Anywhere 3S mouse for $63.74 shipped. This is a 20% discount on the usual price of $80 and marks a return to the all-time low. It’s just the third price cut since its debut last May and helps you upgrade your Mac setup with one of the most popular releases on the market. Logitech’s new MX Anywhere 3S packs new features into the same build as the previous model, upgrading its sensor with an 8K DPI sensor for smoother tracking. It comes equipped with silent switches for the buttons, so the S in its name means silent.

Otherwise, the MX Anywhere 3S remains one of the best mice out there for both at-home and off-desk Mac setups. It has a compact but ergonomic design with two side buttons, as well as all the other technologies that Logitech normally includes in its MX series. There’s FLOW support for connecting to three devices at once via Bluetooth, as well as the option to copy and paste between machines.
